Shared Links

Share your AI design conversations with anyone who has a Trace account. From the web dashboard:
  1. Open a conversation in Dashboard > Projects
  2. Click the Share button in the conversation header
  3. A unique link is generated — copy it and send to collaborators
Only one active shared link exists per conversation. Generating a new link revokes the previous one.

Viewing Shared Conversations

When someone opens your shared link:
  • They must be signed in to Trace to view it
  • They see the full conversation history (messages, tool calls, AI responses)
  • They cannot modify or continue the conversation — view only
Shared links include Open Graph metadata for rich previews when pasted in Slack, Discord, or social media. The preview shows the conversation title and a brief summary.

Revoking Access

To revoke a shared link:
  1. Go to Dashboard > Projects
  2. Find the conversation with an active share
  3. Click the share icon and select Revoke
Once revoked, the link returns a 404 for anyone who tries to access it. View all your active shared links at Dashboard > Shared Links. Each entry shows:
  • Conversation title
  • View count
  • When it was created
  • Option to revoke
Shared conversations include all messages and tool outputs. Review the content before sharing to ensure no sensitive information is exposed.
